B-Side funding for WAN artists
B-side multi media festival is being held on the 26th,27th and 28th of September 2008.
There is a £2400 grant given by Weymouth and Portland Partnership for WAN artists to exhibit at this festival.
This money has been divided up into twelve £200 pound bursaries that individual WAN artists can apply for. This 200 pound has to cover your materials and presentation for the artwork.
Collabrations are welcome.
Its important before applying for a bursary to have a good look at www.b-side.org.uk to get a look at the structure of the festival and the spaces which are available for you to exhibit your work in.
WAN artists were designated the specific site of Brewers Quay to install their work and next week (saturday 2nd august) Brewers Quay is open for artists interested in this project to view the areas which are open for installations.
I will arrange a time and post it, while informing all the people I can about the viewing.
When you have had a good look at the site and think you have a proposal to put forward to the B-Side Festival the things you need are;
CV
Written Proposal (1 A4 sheet)
any additional photos/videos /sketches
Applications should be made out to Alan Rogers and/or Julie Penfold by the 15th August. You should hear confirmation by the 25th August.
Ed and Laura will contact all confirmed artists for all organisation purposes from there.
